The Western Region Blue Pullman speeds
through the countryside on a special excursion to Westford.
The three WR Blue Pullman sets had scheduled services during the
week, The Birmingham Pullman and
The Bristol Pullman, the third set was kept in reserve or
undergoing maintenance. On Saturdays when
they had no scheduled services, they were sometimes employed on
special trains, as depicted above.
